About the role
SolidWorks: To carry out the duties associated with issuing mechanical, pneumatic/ hydraulic parts for build, including producing designs, drawings and parts lists to meet customer specifications. *Key Responsibilities*.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer requirements
- Create detailed 3D models using SolidWorks
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Perform design calculations, verification and value engineering
- Design mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Project Management and Assembly teams for smooth project execution
- Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, quality standards and project timelines
- Support machine assembly, troubleshooting and design improvements when required
- Possess sound knowledge of fabrication, machining, manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
What we are looking for
- Software used: Candidate must have 2 to 3 years of experience using 3D CAD software & SolidWorks
Skills required
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SPM Design
